Maria Burgsthaler (née Froehlich)
1931-2019
With heavy heart and tears we announce the peaceful passing of Maria, loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. She will be sadly missed and forever loved by Heinz (Husband of 55 Years ), Christian (Son), Sandra (Wife to Christian), Klara & Stefan (Grand children), Bertl & Helmuth (Brothers), Irmi, Traude and Inge ( Sisters), We sincerely also want to thank Rambir (Dear Friend) and everybody at the Gary J. Armstrong Care Home for their caring dedication to Maria, particularly during the last days of her life. Friends are invited to pay respects at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, on Friday September 13 after 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Sacred Space at 3 p.m. followed by interment. Contributions are not expected, but if you wish, a memorial donation to the Ottawa and Ontario Dementia or Parkinson's Societies would be appreciated.

To Heinz and Christian, we mourn with you in your loss of Maria, and cherish the many memories we have of her kindness and talents, the beautiful handmade jewellery and the delightful children's toys. We remember the good times we all spent together, her generous hospitality and the wonderful meals she prepared. She will be sadly missed.
